During the holidays, many people travel and can come into substances that are not tolerated by ones system leading to an allergic response such as eczema. If you have allergies in your family or a history of eczema, its important to be vigilant to avoid skin reactions due to intolerance. When you are travelling you can be in contact with many unfamiliar settings.

Dont forget that when we travel we eat foods we arent accustomed to at home. Whether its in the airport, a relatives home or a new restaurant, we ingest foods that are not part of our regular routine. For many people this creates no problems, but for some people dermatitis rashes can be a result.

If you have a history of allergies or skin problems in the family, try to bring your own personal items when you travel. Keep your eye on what you are eating and if there are chemicals in the home you are visiting. Enjoying your holiday is important and keeping your eye out for possible culprits in the environment that your skin doesnt like will help make this a smooth trip.
